PADI Rescue Diver Course — Hurghada
PADI Rescue Diver Course in Hurghada
The course most divers call their favourite: scenario-based training in self-rescue, stress recognition and helping other divers in trouble, capped with a full emergency simulation. Widely considered the turning point where you become a genuinely confident diver. Learning together saves money: 2 persons pay €680 total, 3 persons €992 total.
More About This Trip
Ask experienced divers which course changed them most and the answer is almost always the same: Rescue. Over two to three days this course rewires how you dive — away from following a guide, toward genuinely watching the water, your buddy and yourself. It is challenging, occasionally exhausting, and consistently described as the most rewarding course in recreational diving.
The training is built on scenarios rather than lectures. You learn to recognise stress in another diver before it becomes panic, to manage a panicked diver at the surface without becoming a second casualty, to bring an unresponsive diver up from depth, to tow, to give rescue breaths in the water, and to organise a search pattern when someone is missing. Skills are drilled first, then woven into increasingly realistic surprise scenarios, ending in a full emergency simulation that ties everything together. Expect to laugh a lot and to be genuinely tested.
Prerequisites: you must hold a PADI Adventure Diver rating or higher with the underwater navigation adventure dive completed, be at least 12 years old, and have current Emergency First Response training (primary and secondary care) within the past 24 months — the one-day EFR course can be added right before Rescue if you need it. Equipment, materials, the certification fee, lunches on training days and Hurghada hotel transfers are included; two persons training together pay €680 total, three persons €992 total. Rescue Diver is the final step before the professional Divemaster level.

Dive Safe Package — medical care is on us
Diving with us includes medical care from licensed physicians — before your dive, on the day, and after your trip has ended. If anything comes up once you are back at your hotel, you are still ours to look after: call us and we arrange the doctor, at no extra cost.
A dive medical fitness check before you get in the water is entirely up to you. Some divers simply like the reassurance — say the word and we arrange it with a licensed physician at no extra cost, whenever suits you. And if the physician advises against diving, we refund your booking in full.
This is the whole price
The PADI certification fee is already inside the price above — along with your equipment, instructor and course materials. Worth checking before you compare: some dive centres quote the course on its own and add the manual and certification at the desk, typically €90–€130. Others include it, as we do. So compare what each price covers, not just the number.
What is genuinely not included is listed above, in full — nothing else is added at the boat.
