How much should I tip on a diving boat in Egypt?

Tipping isn't mandatory but is genuinely appreciated and part of local crew income. As a rough guide, $5-10 per person per day for the boat crew (captain, deckhands) and a similar amount directly to your dive guide if you felt well looked after is generous and normal. Cash in Egyptian pounds, USD or EUR is all fine.
