Is Hurghada safe for tourists right now?

Yes. Hurghada is one of the most tourist-oriented cities in Egypt, with a strong security presence around hotels, the marina and dive centers. Normal travel precautions apply (watch your belongings in crowded areas, agree taxi fares before getting in) but we've never had a safety incident with a guest on a booked trip.
