Sha'ab Marsa Alam

A beautifully preserved reef system just a short boat ride from the Marsa Alam marina, combining shallow plateaus from around 5 metres with deeper drop-offs beyond 30 metres. Crystal-clear water — visibility routinely 20 to 30 metres — and colourful coral gardens make it a versatile site where beginners can stay shallow and experienced divers can work the walls, sometimes rewarded by larger species passing along the drop-off.
