Exposed to current — a technical-diver favourite, not a beginner site
A deep plateau (15-25m) giving way to a steep wall popular with technical divers, with a drop-off exceeding 100 metres. A natural drift dive follows the wall south as it widens into a shelf, with huge gorgonian fans forming a dense "jungle" along the drop-off that sways visibly in the current.

Best time to dive here
Divable all year — the Red Sea has no closed season. Water runs from about 22°C in February to 30°C in August, and March–May and September–November give the most comfortable mix of warm water, light wind and good visibility.
