More About This Trip
Some of the Red Sea's most spectacular scenery starts where the recreational limit for most divers ends: the plateaus at 20-35 metres, the gorgonian forests on the deep drop-offs, the wreck sterns resting past 30. The PADI Deep Diver specialty extends your certified limit to 40 metres and — more importantly — teaches you to use that depth with judgement.
Over two days and four training dives, each one progressively deeper, you learn the discipline of deep diving: planning depth and time precisely, managing your gas with generous reserves, pacing your descent and ascent, and using a safety-stop routine that becomes second nature. Your instructor demonstrates how colours vanish and objects change appearance at depth, and runs simple comparison tasks so you experience — safely and under supervision — how gas narcosis quietly slows your thinking. Hurghada's stepped walls and deep plateaus are ideal training ground, because every deep dive here ends in shallow, sun-drenched coral for the safety stop.
The prerequisite is an Adventure Diver rating or higher with a minimum age of 15. Equipment, PADI materials, certification fee, lunches on board and transfers within Hurghada are all included. Deep Diver pairs perfectly with the Enriched Air specialty for longer bottom times, and it unlocks the famous deep sites of the Red Sea and beyond — from offshore pinnacles to the great wrecks that rest below 30 metres.

Dive Safe Package — medical care is on us
Diving with us includes medical care from licensed physicians — before your dive, on the day, and after your trip has ended. If anything comes up once you are back at your hotel, you are still ours to look after: call us and we arrange the doctor, at no extra cost.
A dive medical fitness check before you get in the water is entirely up to you. Some divers simply like the reassurance — say the word and we arrange it with a licensed physician at no extra cost, whenever suits you. And if the physician advises against diving, we refund your booking in full.

The PADI certification fee is already inside the price above — along with your equipment, instructor and course materials. Worth checking before you compare: some dive centres quote the course on its own and add the manual and certification at the desk, typically €90–€130. Others include it, as we do. So compare what each price covers, not just the number.
