PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty Course
PADI Dry Suit Diver Course in Hurghada
Learn to dive warm and dry: four dives over two days covering dry suit buoyancy, care and maintenance — the skill that opens up cold-water destinations around the world.
More About This Trip
A dry suit keeps you completely dry and dramatically warmer than any wetsuit — and it is the key that unlocks the world's legendary cold-water diving: Iceland's crystal fissures, Scandinavian and Scottish wrecks, kelp forests, and Red Sea winters when the water drops enough that locals reach for more insulation. Learning dry suit skills in Hurghada's calm, clear, forgiving conditions is far easier than learning them in the cold destinations that demand them.
The heart of the course is buoyancy. A dry suit contains air that expands and compresses just like your BCD, so over two days and four training dives you learn to manage two buoyancy systems at once: venting and adding air to the suit, preventing and recovering from air migrating to your feet, and fine-tuning trim until the suit feels like a second skin rather than a bag of air. The theory portion covers suit types, valve operation, undergarment choices, and the care and maintenance that keeps an expensive suit sealing properly for years.
The minimum age is 10 and the prerequisite is an entry-level certification (Open Water Diver or equivalent). Equipment including the dry suit, PADI materials, the certification fee, lunches on board and transfers within Hurghada are included. If your diving future includes anywhere colder than the Red Sea — and for most travelling divers it eventually does — this specialty pays for itself on the first cold-water trip.

Dive Safe Package — medical care is on us
Diving with us includes medical care from licensed physicians — before your dive, on the day, and after your trip has ended. If anything comes up once you are back at your hotel, you are still ours to look after: call us and we arrange the doctor, at no extra cost.
A dive medical fitness check before you get in the water is entirely up to you. Some divers simply like the reassurance — say the word and we arrange it with a licensed physician at no extra cost, whenever suits you. And if the physician advises against diving, we refund your booking in full.
This is the whole price
The PADI certification fee is already inside the price above — along with your equipment, instructor and course materials. Worth checking before you compare: some dive centres quote the course on its own and add the manual and certification at the desk, typically €90–€130. Others include it, as we do. So compare what each price covers, not just the number.
What is genuinely not included is listed above, in full — nothing else is added at the boat.
