PADI Deep Diver Specialty — Marsa Alam
About This Trip
Extend your certified limit to 40 metres over four training dives. You learn deep-dive planning, gas management, and how depth changes your body, colours and thinking — with Marsa Alam's dramatic drop-offs like Elphinstone as the training ground. The key to the region's most spectacular deep sites.
More About This Trip
The PADI Deep Diver specialty extends your certified limit to 40 metres and teaches you to use that depth with judgement. Over two to three days and four training dives, each progressively deeper, you learn to plan depth and time precisely, manage gas with generous reserves, and run a disciplined safety-stop routine. Your instructor demonstrates how colours vanish and objects change at depth and, under supervision, how gas narcosis quietly slows your thinking. Marsa Alam's stepped walls and offshore reefs are ideal training ground. Prerequisite: PADI Adventure Diver or higher; minimum age 15. Price is €250 plus the €80 PADI certification fee.
