PADI Open Water Diver Course — Marsa Alam
About This Trip
The world's most popular scuba certification, earned in the warm, clear water of the Red Sea. Over 3–4 days you go from never having dived to a certified diver licensed to dive to 18 metres with a buddy, anywhere on Earth, for life. Theory, confined-water skills, and four open-water dives on Marsa Alam's reefs.
More About This Trip
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the gateway to the whole underwater world, and Marsa Alam's calm, clear reefs are one of the best classrooms on the planet. Day one covers dive theory in plain language plus confined-water sessions where you practise every core skill until it feels natural. The following days move to the open sea for four training dives on real coral reefs — the first two limited to 12 metres, the final two extending to 18. A short exam completes the theory and your lifetime certification is processed on the spot. Requirements: minimum age 10 (junior rating until 15), the ability to swim, and normal good health confirmed by a standard medical statement.
