A lot of people search for a diving package by day count and by city in the same breath — "5 days diving package Hurghada", "10 days diving package Hurghada". Here is the straight answer before you build an itinerary around a number that does not currently exist where you are looking.

Every multi-day package is sold from Marsa Alam

Book the same day repeatedly across your holiday and you get the same outcome as a Marsa Alam package — a different reef each morning — just priced and booked one day at a time rather than as a single multi-day product.

The per-dive price is similar for the first couple of days either way; the Marsa Alam packages pull ahead once you pass four or five dives, because the price drops with length in a way that stacking single Hurghada days does not.

So which should you actually book?

  • Staying in Hurghada, diving three days or fewer: book Hurghada day trips individually — the price difference at this length is small.
  • Diving five or more days and price matters: the Marsa Alam packages are meaningfully cheaper per dive, and worth the longer transfer if your holiday allows it.
  • Staying in Hurghada and want the package price without relocating: ask us through the trip request form — some Marsa Alam packages can be arranged with a Hurghada pickup on a longer transfer; tell us your dates and we will confirm honestly whether it is workable for that week.

Does the day count include travel days?

No — the day counts above are diving days. A "5 days / 10 dives" package is five days on the water, not five days of your holiday; plan arrival and departure separately, and leave the last day of your trip dry, since you need 18 to 24 hours between your last dive and your flight home.
