A small coral tower rising from a flat sandy bottom at 10-12 metres, ringed by coral blocks and table corals. Small does not mean poor: the north face is the richest, big brain corals nearby hold schooling fish facing the current, and about fifty metres north a tiny second erg packed with soft coral and glassfish rewards divers who take their time getting there.

Best time to dive here

Divable all year — the Red Sea has no closed season. Water runs from about 22°C in February to 30°C in August, and March–May and September–November give the most comfortable mix of warm water, light wind and good visibility.
