Often exposed to weather and strong current — experience beyond entry level required for the deep plateau
A plateau sloping gently from 20 to 35 metres off the northern tip of Abu Ramada Island before giving way to a vertical wall that drops past 100 metres. With a north current it is a superb drift: cross the plateau to the drop-off, find the chimney that cuts from 30 up to 24 metres right where plateau meets wall, then multi-level up to finish in the sunlit shallows of the top reef.
