Sheltered bay, occasional strong current — suitable for most levels
A shallow plateau accentuated by pinnacles, sheltered inside a bay but occasionally hit by strong current. A drift along the northwest wall finishes at a set of especially photogenic pinnacles — a favourite stop for macro and wide-angle photographers alike.

Best time to dive here

Divable all year — the Red Sea has no closed season. Water runs from about 22°C in February to 30°C in August, and March–May and September–November give the most comfortable mix of warm water, light wind and good visibility.
