Refund Policy

1. Free Cancellation Window

Every booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the trip start time — no questions asked, and you receive a 100% refund including any VAT paid.

2. Cancellations Within 48 Hours

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the trip are non-refundable, because the operator has already reserved boat space, equipment, and staff for you.

Exception: if you can document a medical emergency preventing participation, contact us and we will work with the operator on a refund or free rebooking.

3. Weather & Operator Cancellations

If the operator or maritime authorities cancel the trip (rough sea, safety, technical reasons), you choose between a 100% refund or free rebooking to another date or an equivalent trip — your choice, always.

4. No-Shows

Not arriving at the agreed pickup point at the agreed time without prior notice counts as a late cancellation and is non-refundable. If something urgent happens on the day, message us on WhatsApp immediately — we will do our best with the operator.

5. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds always go back to the original payment method (the same card or PayPal account). Processing takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Amounts are refunded in USD — the currency you were charged in; your bank handles any conversion.

VAT collected on a refunded booking is refunded proportionally with it.

6. How to Request a Refund

Send your booking reference (e.g. ET-XXXXXX) to sales@support.egyptxdiving.com or WhatsApp +201102668443. We confirm eligibility within 24 hours and trigger the refund immediately upon approval.
