Dive Safe Package — medical care is on us

Diving with us includes medical care from licensed physicians — before your dive, on the day, and after your trip has ended. If anything comes up once you are back at your hotel, you are still ours to look after: call us and we arrange the doctor, at no extra cost.

A dive medical fitness check before you get in the water is entirely up to you. Some divers simply like the reassurance — say the word and we arrange it with a licensed physician at no extra cost, whenever suits you. And if the physician advises against diving, we refund your booking in full.

How much does this trip cost?

$197 for your whole group, however many of you come — not per person.

What is included in the price?

What is the minimum age?

Divers must be at least 8 years old.

Do I need a diving certification?

For guided dives a valid certification is required; snorkeling and introductory experiences need none. Contact us if you are unsure.

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes — free transfer to and from all hotels within Hurghada. Hotels in Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna have a small transfer surcharge.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your trip date.

How deep can I dive without a certification?

Up to 12 metres, and only under the direct supervision of a PADI professional — that is what an introductory dive allows worldwide. Going deeper, or diving with just a buddy, requires a certification such as the PADI Open Water Diver course.

When is the best time to dive in Hurghada?

All year round — the Red Sea has no closed season. Water runs from about 22°C in February to 30°C in August, and March–May and September–November bring the most comfortable mix of warm water, light wind and good visibility. Winter diving is excellent too; you simply want a thicker wetsuit.

Are there any extra costs?

Everything in the price is listed on this page, and so is everything that is not. Payable locally: DVD photos/videos; Drinks on the island. When you compare with another centre, check what their price leaves out — transfers, lunch on board, guiding and taxes are often quoted separately, so a lower headline price is not always the lower one you pay.
