1. Who We Are

Egypt X Diving (egyptxdiving.com) is a booking platform connecting tourists with licensed, PADI-certified dive centers and excursion operators in Hurghada and Marsa Alam, Egypt. The service on the day of your trip is delivered by the operator named on your booking voucher.

Egypt X Diving is operated by Egypt X Ltd (Companies House registration number 17386841), a company registered in England, UK, at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Egypt X Ltd holds the payment processing accounts used on this site and may appear as the merchant of record on your card or bank statement.

2. Bookings & Payment

A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive a confirmation email with your booking reference and voucher. All charges are made in US Dollars (USD); prices shown in other currencies are estimates for convenience.

Where VAT applies it is shown separately at checkout and itemized on your invoice.

3. Cash on Arrival Payments

Cash payment is available only on trips where it has been explicitly enabled by the operator — look for the "Cash" option at checkout. If it is not shown for a trip, only online payment is accepted for that trip.

When you select cash, we may require a deposit to be paid online (by card or another supported method) at the time of booking to secure your reservation, with the remaining balance payable in cash to the operator on the day of your trip. Whether a deposit is required, its amount, and any cash handling fee are all shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your booking — nothing is charged that you did not see and accept first.

A cash handling fee, where shown at checkout, is added on top of the trip price and applies only if you choose cash as your payment method.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the trip start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, except when the operator or weather authorities cancel the trip — in that case you choose between a full refund or free rebooking.

5. Your Responsibilities

You must provide accurate contact details, arrive at the agreed pickup point on time, and meet the stated requirements of the activity (minimum age, certification level for advanced dives, honest health declaration). Diving under the influence of alcohol or against medical advice is strictly prohibited.

6. Dive Profile & Equipment Details

After payment you can submit your dive profile (equipment sizes, certification number, hotel pickup, dietary and medical notes) — either right after checkout or later from My Bookings. Skipping it at checkout is fine; you can fill it in any time afterwards.

Your FIRST submission of these details is accepted at any time — even for same-day bookings — because the operator needs them to prepare your trip. CHANGES to already-submitted details are possible up to 24 hours before your trip day; after that they are locked so the operator can prepare your equipment and logistics. For later changes contact us on WhatsApp and we will coordinate with the operator directly.

For safety and accountability, every change to your dive profile is recorded in a time-stamped edit log attached to your booking. You can see this history on the details page itself.

7. Liability

Water sports and desert activities carry inherent risks. Operators maintain the licenses, insurance, and safety standards required by Egyptian law and PADI standards. Egypt X Diving acts as a booking agent and is not liable for events during service delivery beyond the amounts paid through the platform.

8. Reviews & Vouchers

Reviews may only be posted for completed, verified bookings. Your booking voucher QR code is personal; the operator scans it once to confirm the service was delivered.
